Description

This is a typical specimen from the Blue Ball Mine in Arizona. A hemispherical piece of pure Azurite, and when you turn it around, a vug with azure blue sparkling Azurite crystals and grass-green acicular Malachite clusters with a vitreous luster: very colorful, very aesthetic and full of contrast. Gee, I wonder where the mine got the name Blue Ball Mine.
