Description
A unique historic specimen, perfectly protected in a small glass dome with two handwritten historic labels: one reads “Jamesonit Federerz xx (Heteromorphit Pribram, Böhmen”, [Jamesonite Feather ore crystals (Heteromorphite Pribram, Bohemia] while the second one reads “Heteromorphit (Plumosite) Pribram Austria” [Heteromorphite (Plumosite) Pribram, Austria]. Old labels give us a unique opportunity to date a specimen. Pribram was part of the Austrian Habsburg monarchy in the 19th and very early 20th century, from 1939 to 1945 it was German Bohemia, and after WWII it became part of the Czech Republic. A unique specimen, a unique piece of mining history!
