Description

A cluster of Wulframite crystals on a matrix typical for the locality Zinnwald in the Saxon Erzgebirge. The crystals with very little imperfection are black with a metallic luster. The largest one measures 2 cm. A classic specimen from a historic mining district where Quartz-Cassiterite-Wolframite deposits were mined in flat lying veins. And that since the Middle Ages.
