Description

A small cabinet specimen of the spodumene variety Kunzite. Distinctly pink and with typical striation in the prism faces, a vitreous luster and faintly stepped terminations. This specimen with only minor imperfections is from the Afghani Khauraz pegmatite, which rose to fame when large quantities of gem-quality Spodumene was found in the very early 2000s.
