Description
A heavy piece of very rich, tombak colored, of partly crystalline masses of the rare Cobalt-arsenide from Calumet in Houghton without specific mine name. Calumet is a village in Houghton County that was formerly known as Red Jacket. It was a "company town" built by the Calumet & Hecla Mining Company. Due to the high specific gravity, this piece makes a good paperweight, rarely offered, especially in this quality.
