Description
Stromeyerite is an uncommon Silver-Copper sulfide, which was first described in the early 1830s. On this specimen, the species occurs in steel-gray prismatic crystals with a metallic luster and great bluish patina, framed by Quartz crystals. This rich and showy Silver ore thumbnail hails from the famous Alexander Shaft near Příbram in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
