Description
Numerous silver Carrollite octahedrons with a shiny metallic luster are perched on matrix. The crystals of this rare Copper-Cobalt Sulphide are sharp and well crystallized, with most crystals being complete. This aesthetic specimen is from the finds from the late 1990s, which is remarkable because the mine owners enforced a strict no-collecting policy. Looking at this specimen, it is easy to understand why the Kamoya South II Mine which is located about 100 km north of the Zambian border, is known for its world-class Carrollite specimens.
