Description
Aurichalcite from the Arizonan 79 Mine, a is former underground Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag-Au-Mo-Sb-V-Fe occurrence/mine is justifiably famous with collectors, but very few specimens survive. You will easily find polished pieces, but mineral specimens such as this one that likely came out in the 1960s or 1970s are not easy to get. Elongated, acicular to petaled mint-green Aurichalcite crystals with a strong silky luster cover the specimen. Colorful, aesthetic and rather rare!
