Description
This is a cluster of unique, deep purple Fluorite octahedrons with only minimal edge wear. The crystals are sharp, translucent, and partially gemmy. The Fluorite is associated with slivers of tabular silvery Löllingite. The Iron arsenate has a good metallic luster. This specimen has top aesthetics, especially because of the incredible color. It is from Huanggang, a series of mines (conveniently numbered from no. 1 to no. 7) in a skarn-type Iron-Tin deposit in remote Inner Mongolia.
