Description
Typical and highly aesthetic Fluorite-Barite specimen from the Jaimina mine near the Atlantic coast of northern Spain with active mining since the early 1940s. The translucent Fluorite crystals, typically for the locality, have slightly curved edges and “domed” the cube faces, which consist of several individual intergrown cuboctahedrons. The color is light sea blue with phantoms of a slightly stronger color. A Barite rose is an attractive attachment on the side of the specimen.
