Description
A Hematite specimen with sharp crystals with a strong metallic luster on typical Rio marina matrix. The major crystals on this specimen are pristine with an incredible aesthetic appeal. For ages, Hematite from the Tuscan island of Elba set the standards for Hematite specimens from all over the world, and they are still unique today. The Etruscans whose culture lasted from ca. 900 BC to almost two millenai ago, were already mining in the iron mines of the island.
