Description
This is a specimen with a very rare species from a far away locality: Murmanite from the Selsurt Mountain, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, which is in the northern part of the peralkaline Lovozero massif of the Kola Peninsula. Numerous purple-brown mica-like books of Murmanite with a greasy, pearly luster in matrix. What did you expect from a region that is type locality to 109(!) valid mineral species?
