Description

The Naica Mine is probably best know for its caves with GIANTSelenite crystals to 14 m length. But this place has other goodies to offer. A Fluorite that does not look like your traditional Fluorite. An aesthetic, gem-like single crystal with all the fixings of the isometric crystal system, though a little distorted, finally convinced me that this is actually a Fluorite. The colorlessr crystal with a vitreous luster is highly translucent and thus difficult to photograph, and makes it much better in person. If I were to collect Fluorite, this would be the one to add to my collection!
