Description
Much richer in colour than most of the previous specimens, this six-sided, tabular, lustrous and translucent, deep sky blue Beryl measures 2,0 cm across. Intense colour, and a nice representative example of this rare varietal! Nicely frayed terminations and almost pristine all around, this is still a displayable specimen from the all sides. These were originally thought to be Rosterite or Vorobyevite, but further analysis by Dr. Federico Pezzotta confirmed they are alkali-rich beryls.
