Description
Here we have a sculptural cluster of botryoidal Mottramite from the famous 2011 find at the Ojuela Mine in Mexico, which many consider the best of species. This sculptural matrix specimen consists of rich, matte, dark olive green, stacked and clumped botryoids of Mottramite that are selectively highlighted with green-yellow, especially on the backside. This is a showy and significant miniature sized piece of rounded Mottramite that is essentially pristine and very attractive. For decades Tsumeb was the prestigious locality for Mottramite until this significant discovery.
