Description
Perched aesthetically atop a white marble matrix is a well formed twin crystal, measuring 2,8 cm in diameter, of Sodalite from famed Sar-e-Sang of Koksha Valley in Afghanistan. The crystal is almost dull and translucent with an eye-pleasing blue colour with less white parts. It exhibits a superb salmon pink colour under LW-UV light and is associated with glistening and brassy Pyrite. This is a relatively large, and unusually twinned crystal that is nicely displayed on a balanced matrix - all in all a rare combination.
