Description
This ultrafine specimen hosts numerous well formed, partly acicular and/or spear-shaped crystals of Ludjibaite and comes from the Shituru Mine of Likasi, Katanga, Congo. Ludjibaite is a VERY RARE copper phosphate, that is NOT radioactive but occurs rarely in this suite of species here. This specimen, though small, could be considered fairly rich in the material with numerous microcrystalline growth at the center of the piece. Ex Gilbert Gauthier material, Ex Erberto Tealdi collection.
