Description

Here we have a wonderful thumbnail sized cluster of well formed Pyrargyrite from old and venerable Samson Mine of St. Andreasberg in Harz Mountains. The crystals here are sharp edged and highly lustrous, mostly with good terminations, but not all are complete. The colour is metallic dark gray but with distinct red internal reflections when backlit. Classic and old-time material due to the Samson Mine is defunct since 1910.
