Description
This bright, metallic specimen consists of of a rich vein of Sperrylite from which project crystals at the top, to 6 mm in diameter. The specimen actually has a few smaller, but not perfect crystals of 2-4 mm on the other side (though the 6 mm crystal has a ding on that rear-facing corner), but it is really difficult to photograph so we simply took the shots we could get of one side and the edge view. A great opportunity to get hold of such a nice example of this rare, crystallized platinum species. There is a small amount of glue, I just saw under the microscope which should be removed with aceton. It doesn´t detract any crystal.
