Here we have a superb mini covered with numerous, excellent defined crystals of Vesuvianite. This rich, display-sized specimen hosts a large number of almost perfect, sharply crystallized Vesuvianites up to 1 cm. These are classic, olive-green Vesuvianite crystals from the Italian Piedmont. Only minor edge wear on less crystals. The single crystals are very high lustrous and most of them are superbly flattened terminated. What I particularly like about this piece is its gemminess, which blasts you away. Nice clusters like this have tended to stay in Italy with the collectors, and we seldom see anything really good. Unique compared to other locales, these are immediately recognizable classics.
