Description
Sharply crystallized but not perfect examples of this species are very rare, and this is one of the few we personally handle. This locale is close to the type locality, from which specimens were recovered around 1900 and identified in 1902. This is a rare magnesium, aluminum oxide, borate silicate and here occurs in lustrous, slightly translucent, blue-gray crystals, to 1.5 cm across. This ENTIRE CLUSTER is composed of relatively sharp tabular crystals, although with some contacts at the edges.
