Description
The highly desired Quartz styles of the Swiss alps are on the one hand the violet variety of Amethyst and on the other hand the scepter form. Both varieties combined represent this MOST DESIRED and sought after kind of Scepteramethyst. Compared with their Austrian "brothers" from Zillertal for example, these ones are at least 10 times rarer and actually not available on the market. And here we have a superb specimen with a whitish shaft and a clear medium lilac Amethyst scepter from the collection of alas passed away collector and friend Joachim Hennrich. Joachim was well known as a very picky mineralogical perfectionist and this was one of his great Swiss scepter pieces. Both, shaft and scepter, are sharp edged and highly lustrous and despite the shaft has a few contacts, the scepter is pristine. A stunning piece and soooooo hard to come by.
