Description
This is a wonderful specimen of Celestine (also known as "Celestite") from the former Soviet republic of Tadzhikistan - it is not common to see Celestines from here at all, as compared to the abundant ones from Madagascar, and even American specimens. This is a wide opened vug full of stout and extremely gemmy, glassy crystals (truly glasslike in person), with just the faintest blue-grey hue to them. Ex Erberto Tealdi collection.
