Description
One of the super multifaced Sulphur clusters we have seen from these classic old mines, this is composed of intergrown crystals of lustrous and lucent to transparent, lemon yellow Sulphur, to 1,4 cm in in lenght. This superfine crystals here are exceedingly well formed and multifaced as well. The specimen looks overall like a piece of art, and is just "pretty" in a colourful and aesthetic way that so few Sulphurs are. Such specimens of well crystallised native Sulphur are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain and this is a superb example with only minor edge wear. Old piece, from the Dr. Herbert Muntau collection.
