Description

This is a really good alpine Fluorite specimen with relatively large, light green octahedrons up to 1.6 cm in diameter. They are intensly intergrown on the typical gneiss matrix. The fluorites are largely translucent with a silky luster. As far as I can see with the unaided eye the specimen is intact with a small exception at the periphery. Due to the lack of contrast, good images were unfortunately difficult to produce and therefore this classic specimen from the 1960s is much better in nature.
